 The back of the potholder, the loop and a center layer of heat resistant material are added while the front is still hooped. |
 Trim the edges of your finished potholders with a wavy rotary cutter or pinking shears. Then, if preferred, you can finish the trimmed edges on your sewing machine with an overedge stitch as shown above. |
